FLS Announces Payroll Tax Solution for Railroad/Agricultural Employers

DALLAS, TEXAS - 10/13/97 - Federal Liaison Services, Inc. (FLS) today announced the release of the Client/Server FLS Payroll Tax System™ for railroad employers. This software product offers a client/server solution with all of the functionality that existing customers enjoy in addition to many new features such as tax due date calendars, reports, EFTPS, and other services needed for employers of railroad workers. FLS has offered a highly successful DOS version of this product for several years. Prerelease interest in the Client/Server version has been high among existing DOS customers as well as railroad employers seeking a full-service, Client/Server solution for their payroll tax processing needs.

In addition to the railroad version of the System, FLS has added form 943 functionality, needed by employers of agricultural workers, to the FLS Payroll Tax System. The system now supports import, data entry, reporting, and EFTPS processing for agricultural employers.

"We are continuing to expand our products' features to answer the payroll tax compliance responsibilities of large employers," said Fran Bartlett, president of FLS. "FLS will begin shipments of the product on November 1, 1997 and will offer multi-user and single-user versions that utilize Oracle or Centura database engines."
