Long-Time FLS Customers Receive Industry Award

American Payroll Association Recognizes 2001 Payroll Man and Woman of the Year

DALLAS, TEXAS - 5/31/01 - Two long-term software customers of Federal Liaison Services, Inc. (FLS), a leading supplier of employer compliance software and services, were recently presented the 2001 Payroll Man and Woman of the Year award by the American Payroll Association (APA). The presentation ceremony took place at the 19th Annual APA Congress in Anaheim, California. The annual award recognizes two individuals for their dedication and leadership within the payroll industry.

The Payroll Woman of the Year award went to Marcia Aamodt, CPP, Director of Payroll Accounts Payable at Northwest Airlines in St. Paul, Minneapolis. Ms. Aamodt has been an FLS customer since 1993, is a frequent speaker at the annual FLS User and Training Conference, and a former chairperson of the FLS User Committee. "I'm thrilled to be recognized by my peers with this high honor and I appreciate the outstanding support FLS has given me throughout the years," said Ms. Aamodt.

Roger A. Smith, CPP was the recipient of the Payroll Man of the Year award. Mr. Smith is a Business Planning Consultant with the GM Business Unit of EDS in Southfield, Michigan. EDS has been a customer of FLS since 1994.

In recognition of the honor and as thanks for their support, FLS presented commemorative desk plaques to both Smith and Aamodt.
