New PS Convert™ Windows Version Speeds Year-End Payroll Processing
DALLAS, TEXAS - 9/25/00 - Federal Liaison Services, Inc. (FLS), the leader in compliance solutions for employers, announced that its PS Convert™, the application that converts a PeopleSoft® Payroll System export file, is now available in a Windows version. It was previously available as a DOS version.
Using PS Convert, W-2 data files are converted into the FLS proprietary format for use by FLS Year End Tax Printing Services™ and the FLS Year End Tax System™.
Enhancements to the new version of PS Convert include:
- Online documentation
- System flow diagrams
- 23-step record validation process before conversion and export
- Error reporting and editing online
With PS-Convert, payroll tax data can be viewed as both import and export files. The utility also creates a transmittal file to accompany the data file, for FLS Year End Tax Printing Services.
Users have the option of editing defective data from within PS Convert, instead of having to create a new file. The new version has the look and feel of FLS Sync™, an interface tool for payroll data conversions, including online documentation, FAQs, and flow charts. PS Convert is available on a CD-ROM, installing in minutes without a database engine install.
