1998 Pacesetter Award Goes to Federal Liaison Services, Inc.

Dallas Business Journal Award Recognizes the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex

DALLAS, TEXAS - 9/25/98 - Federal Liaison Services, Inc. (FLS) announced today that the company has received a 1998 Pacesetters Award in an annual event sponsored by the Dallas Business Journal. The 1998 Pacesetter companies represent performers that are contributing significantly to the economy as well as creating new opportunities in the local business environment.

Fifty companies are selected for the honor from a potential pool of thousands of local businesses in a four-county area. To be eligible for this exclusive list, a company must be an independent, privately held business headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area. Nominees must be able to show a three-year growth pattern, with a significant sales increase from fiscal year 1996 to 1997. All finalists are reviewed and ranked by Deloitte & Touche LLP.

The 50 Pacesetter winners achieved an average 93% increase in sales from 1996 to 1997. Finalists were recognized at a special ceremony in Dallas on September 24. Fran Bartlett, president and CEO of FLS, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
